1. Introduction

Welcome to goallll (“goallll,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to explaining what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

This Privacy Policy describes our practices when you use the goallll mobile application for iOS (the “App”) and related pages on worldcuptrackerapp.com (the “Site”).

Key points:

  • Analytics is optional — you can use core App features without enabling analytics.
  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not use your data for cross-app advertising or cross-app tracking (current implementation).
  • We do not require an account to use the App.

3. Scope

This policy applies to the goallll iOS App and legal/informational pages we operate at [WEBSITE_DOMAIN] (currently worldcuptrackerapp.com). It does not apply to third-party websites, app stores, or services that we do not control (such as Apple’s App Store or payment processing), except as described below.

4. Information we collect

4.1 Information you provide

The App stores certain preferences on your device using iOS local storage (UserDefaults). This may include:

  • Favorite team / nation selection (“My Team”) — to personalize fixtures and related content
  • Onboarding completion flags — to avoid repeating first-run flows
  • Analytics consent choice — whether you opted in or out of optional analytics

We do not operate user account registration or login in the current version of the App.

4.2 Information collected automatically (optional analytics only)

If you opt in to analytics in the App (via the consent sheet and/or Settings), we use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect limited usage and diagnostic information, such as:

  • App interactions and feature usage events
  • General device/app information (e.g. device model, OS version, app version)
  • Approximate region or language settings derived from device configuration

If you do not opt in, Firebase Analytics is not used for your session. Core App features remain available without analytics consent.

In our Firebase configuration, advertising-related storage and ad personalization are disabled. Analytics data is used to understand how features are used, not for cross-app advertising.

4.3 Subscription and purchase information

goallll Premium is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payments; we do not receive or store your payment card details.

We may receive subscription entitlement/status information from Apple (via StoreKit) to determine whether you have access to Premium features — for example, whether a subscription or free trial is active.

  • Product ID: com.worldcup.damas.football.premium.monthly
  • Display price: typically $1.99/month (may vary by storefront and local taxes)
  • Free trial: 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, where offered by Apple

4.4 Sports data requests

To show live scores, fixtures, standings, lineups, and related tournament information, the App requests data from a third-party sports data API (e.g. API-Football or an equivalent provider). These requests generally relate to match and tournament data, not your personal identity. Standard network information (such as IP address) may be processed by the provider as part of delivering API responses.

4.5 What we do not collect (current implementation)

As of the last updated date above, the App does not:

  • Send push notifications (feature disabled in code)
  • Request access to location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
  • Use the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework for cross-app tracking
  • Operate social login or user profile accounts

5. How we use information

We use information as follows:

  • Provide the App — display scores, schedules, groups, match previews, and personalized team content
  • Remember preferences — store your team selection, onboarding state, and analytics consent on device
  • Manage subscriptions — verify Premium access through Apple
  • Improve the App (optional) — if you opt in, analyze aggregated usage via Firebase Analytics
  • Support and compliance — respond to inquiries and meet legal obligations

We do not use your information for cross-app advertising or to sell personal data.

7. Third-party services

We use service providers that process information on our behalf or as independent controllers:

  • Apple — App Store distribution, StoreKit subscriptions, and device/platform services. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google Firebase Analytics — optional usage analytics if you opt in. See Firebase Privacy and Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Sports data API provider — tournament fixtures, scores, standings, and match statistics. Data shared is typically limited to API request metadata required to deliver sports content.

We require providers to handle data consistent with this policy and applicable law. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own cross-app advertising on our behalf.

8. Data retention

  • On-device preferences — retained on your device until you change them or delete the App.
  • Analytics data — if enabled, retained according to Firebase/Google retention settings and our configuration; typically in aggregated form.
  • Subscription records — managed by Apple; we retain entitlement status only as needed to provide Premium access.
  • Support correspondence — retained as long as needed to resolve your request and for legitimate business/legal purposes.

9. Your choices and rights

9.1 Analytics (Privacy Choices)

You can control optional analytics in the App:

  • When first prompted, choose whether to enable analytics
  • Later, open Settings in the App and toggle analytics on or off

Declining analytics does not block access to core App features.

9.2 On-device data

Deleting the App removes locally stored preferences from your device (subject to iOS behavior and backups).

9.3 Subscriptions

Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.

9.4 Privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information, or to withdraw consent. Contact us at hi@damastechnologies.com to submit a request. We may need to verify your request as permitted by law.

10. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. International users

We may process information in countries other than where you live, including where our service providers operate. When we transfer information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
